Blue Martyrs

The sun setting between the large limestone formations called the Martyrs along the Great Ocean Road, in Victoria Australia.

The limestone rocks that dot the Southern coastline, along the Great Ocean Road in Australia, are stunning. The 12 (8) Apostles are the main draw card of the area, but are only a small part of a much larger and stunning coastline.

With the sun setting directly in front of me, I wanted to capture the depth being created by the light and mist from the ocean waves. A long exposure was used to calm the surging waves, creating a serene and colourful water.
