Bombo

Bombo Quarry in Kiama, New South Wales is one of the most amazing coastal locations I have seen. The towering sandstone cliffs look like they were carved by man, with there incredible shapes. The massive waves of the Pacific Ocean crashing down on the rocks creates a surreal seascape.

I stood back at this channel for quite some time, watching the way the large waves were entering the channel and crashing on the rocks. Only after some time, I moved close (not close) to the foreground rocks. Using a long exposure I calmed down the busy sea, showing a ghostly mist against the strong, hard towering rocks.
