Burning Blue

Fires can cause a great deal of devastation, but they can also be blessing. When forests get older, they let less light hit the forest floor. As a result food for animals does not grow. With forest fires, new growth can begin, bringing new life to the area.

The bright blues of the sky and shadows against the yellow trees caught my eye. It’s not often these colours come together naturally in nature. I captured this as a large panorama, to show the vastness of the scene.
