Captain

At the end of a long and very narrow rural road, we came to a river crossing. The remnants of a bamboo foot bridge, built for workers to access the rice fields on the other side of the river,  hung on to the shoreline. As the sun starts to set, the workers start returning to their village. Waiting on the other side of the river for their return, was this villager. Each time a group of workers returned, he would paddle a boat across to collect them.
