Hector Lake

Hector Lake is a small lake on the Southern end of the Icefield Parkway, next to the Bow River. Although Hector Lake is a smaller lake, the mountains surrounding the lake are some of the most beautiful.

In winter the lake was frozen, and all the trees were holding on to some recent snowfall. The light hitting the mountains surrounding Hector Lake was stunning. I shot a large panorama to capture the beautiful scenery and light on the mountains.
