Even in the cold of winter in the Canadian Rockies, the glaciers can still create their own climate. The wind whips off the glaciers, creating a more barren landscape and dropping temperatures that cut right through you.
The wind on this day was pushing down off the glaciers and cutting right through me and my equipment. This very large panorama took longer due to the shaking caused by the strong winds. The reward is this white winter wonderland in the Rockies.
