Layers of Medicine

Sometimes the most desolate of scenes can create the most beautiful images. The layers and textures created in the landscape from the burnt out forest, frozen water and live trees, is a incredibly striking.

As a photographer I am more often than not, trying to simplify scenes to tell a singular story. The layers created through the freezing conditions in snow, added so much more to this scene.
