Layers of the Ranges

The rolling hills of the Stirling Ranges are mesmerising. With foggy, cloudy or rainy conditions, it creates gorgeous depth to the ranges through the appearance that the hills are fading away into the distance.

Wanting to capture the depth created in the image, with the rolling hills, I isolated a small area. This allowed me to emphasize the size and beauty of those layers. The little bit of light reflecting in the valley allowed amazing detail to come into the canopy of the trees.
