On the Icefield Parkway, everything starts to turn to winter before they do in Banff. The morning air can be quite chilled as the wind whips through the valleys and off of the glaciers that line the lakes.
On this very cold late Autumn morning, the ice was starting to form on the creeks entering the lake. The ice was varying in thickness as it worked its way to the centre of the creek. Standing out in the middle of the creek, I captured this sunrise image of the mountain reflecting into the creek.
