Out Of The Mist

Mist and fog are very common here in the Rockies when the outside air temperatures differ greatly from the water. It’s a serene feeling to be on the shores of the lakes, sharing it with wildlife, and listening to their calls.

I could hear the family of ducks on the lake, before I could see them. Shortly after making their first sounds, they appeared out of the mist. They created a perfect cut through the reflection as they made their way across the lake.
