Storms along the South West coast of West Australia are not uncommon. The seas in this area are large, and a surfers paradise. With large seas with storms, and you have a powerful combination.
The swells were pounding the shoreline, and flooding the rocks with white washed water. This long exposure creates a misty and surreal appearance to the scene.
