Cloudy Shores

Emerald Lake in Yoho National Park is one of the more iconic locations in the Rocky Mountain parks. On the BC side of the Rockies, it’s a magical place to visit, explore and photograph.

On this morning the rain had settled in, and was quite heavy. This inclement weather created some great opportunities to look at this beautiful location differently. The heavy mist and cloud created a beautiful scene through the trees on the shoreline.
