Snow Drifts of Bow

The freezing cold of winter in the Rockies brings amazing conditions. There is little to no moisture in the air, and the snow is like talcum powder. When the wind picks up, it throws the snow around creating amazing textures and patterns.

In waist deep powder snow, I made my way to the frozen Bow Lake. The patterns of snow around the lake were amazing, creating some incredible interest.
